When placing an order with Everyday Woof, please be aware that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees as required by Canadian law. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer.

Who Pays for Duties and Taxes?
As the importer of record, you (the customer) are responsible for paying any duties, taxes, or fees levied by the Canadian government. These charges will be collected from you at the time of delivery by the shipping carrier.
Notification and Payment
If any duties or taxes are due on your order, the shipping carrier will contact you upon arrival in Canada. You will need to settle these charges directly with the carrier to receive your package.
Important Notes
- Customs Delays: Occasionally, shipments can be delayed by customs, which is beyond our control. We recommend allowing extra time for your order to arrive, especially during peak periods or holidays.
- Non-Payment of Duties and Taxes: If you choose not to pay the duties and taxes due upon delivery, the package may be returned to us. Please note that any return shipping costs, as well as the original shipping fees, may be deducted from your refund.
- Prepaid Duties and Taxes (Optional): At this time, we do not offer a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) option. All duties and taxes must be paid upon delivery.
